Day of Radiology (IDoR), Nov. 8, 2012
The first annual International Day of Radiology (IDoR), Nov. 8, 2012, marks the anniversary of the 1895 discovery of the X-ray and the tremendous advances in patient care made possible by radiologists, radiation oncologists and medical imaging.
IDoR joint sponsors — the American College of Radiology, the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) — host international activities to mark the event, together with 66 medical societies in 38 countries.
ACR chapters, participating societies and all radiology facilities are encouraged to participate by using the customizable tools below.
